"I'm a weak advanced player and have been looking for an affordable coach ─ but at the same time one that is skilled enough to significantly improve my understanding of chess and answer all my questions ─ for quite some time, until I stumbled upon Vlad.
I have only had 4 sessions so far; however, my online rating has already risen by 100 points since then and is still rising, in large part as a result of Vlad's coaching. What he will provide you with is a combination of tactical and positional training, and what I especially like about it is that little of it involves memorization. While the latter is certainly primarily knowledge-based, it is presented in a way that is easily generalizable and applicable to a range of different positions.
The former really restructures your thought process to be more flexible and creative. My only gripe with Vlad is that he tends to get distracted at times, but other than that, it's a 'recommend' from me."
